Welcome to the most important period of time in your new job experience!
This is a pivotal time, your future with this career may be determined on the impression you make with your new boss and co workers. in my experience most employers are aware of the Brown nose approach- so do not try to be impressive. Be no more than who you are. do not attempt to be a people pleaser; this is impossible ,because no matter the situation everyone will not be happy at the same time. Be yourself, be diligent, be bold !
If you are assertive and will not compromise your morals and ethics>you will succeed.
If you show weakness in the business world they will smell it like blood in the water.
Therefore if you face challenges-study study study.those who know their material will pass up the lazy and boastful group who believe they can schmooze themselves along.
Don't pass up opportunities just based on the level of difficulty. You will find that by taking a chance and being under the gun will force you into productivity that you didn't know you were capable of.Remember that your fellow workers are vital to your success; if you treat them with compassion and respect-they will compliment your performance in closed as well as open rooms".Don't be afraid to take the bull by the horns-if you see something that needs to be done>DO IT! because"hard work really pays off" in many ways.
Dress for success -wear clothes that create an air of responsibility and class.Don't overdo it mind you,but remember what ever work you do -how you dress reflects who you are to others coupled with a professional and positive attitude! And remember The wost thing a good man can do in a bad situation is nothing at all.
