Up in a morning,
and dine like a king,
fuelling our energy,
making us zing.
Onto our lunch,
which at midday we eat
enough to last till
an afternoon treat.
Dinner is now eaten
late in the day
and should be quite frugal
so slim we can stay.
Though this is the ideal
too many folk today
just eat, eat and eat
right through the day.
