Criteria for establishing a selling price on your used car
Article ToolsTheir is a very quick and simple way to determine the appropriate selling price on your used car.
Step #1
Find similar vehicles for sale (either at a dealership or online) and compare a short list of comparable features such as mileage, exterior condition, interior condition, add-ons (items your car has that others may not such as wheels or expensive tires).
Step #2
Find out how much you owe on the vehicle and determine if the selling prices you've found are enough to pay the car off. If not, you need to decide if you can make up the difference. If it is enough or if you have the cash to make up the difference, continue on.
Step #3
Decide how long you want to wait before finding a buyer. If you're not in a hurry, you can set the price on the high end of the range you have found. If you really need to sell quickly, then you should set your price at the low end of the other cars you've seen for sale.
Set the price and you're ready to go!
