Nutrition tips: How to fill up and not out

Cookies, candy, cake, anything sugary and high caloric looks YUM! I often wonder why everyone tells me that only the good tasty food is the one that is bad for you. Then i realized it when i was packing on pounds at all the wrong places.

I started eating less and was feeling starved but still i didn't seem to be getting anywhere near my ideal weight. With a little bit of research i found that i was not doing it the right way. I went through exercises, diets and what not but believe me the minute you cut out those white flour products, those carbohydrates and of course all the sugary stuff, you are well on your way to losing that weight.

But that is just the start. Eating well means replacing your meals with healthy alternatives, like complex carbohydrates, lentils, fibrous food, fruits and veggies and lean meat. Salads will not fill you up and then your body starts craving for more food and then you will binge. Work out a plan and try and stick to it. Take note of a few points and am sure all of you have this on your to-do list but never really did it.

1.Replace your meals with foods rich in complex carbohydrates, fibrous food and fruits and veggies
2. Try not to binge eat and eat regular portioned meals in short intervals so as to beat the cravings or hunger pangs before they hit you
3.Include a lot of fresh fruits, fruit and veggie juices if you like and also lots of water in your daily routine.
4. Try experimenting in the kitchen with healthful recipes that suit your palate.
5.Encouragement is a key to success, let your family in on this and take their support.
6.Don't starve yourself, that way you will end up eating more than you normally do.
7. Limit or try and avoid having high calorie food or junk food around the house, so that you won't cave into temptation.
8. when you drop that dress size that will be impetus enough for you to continue.
9.Fruits, vegetables, fluids and foods low in sugars and trans fats (like those found in fried food) are good for you.
10. Eat in moderation and exercise there is no diet that can help you all the way without exercise. no matter how much or how little you eat if you do not exercise and elevate your metabolism your success in losing weight will be sluggish and that might be a motivation killer right there.
