The centre lane owners club..... here in the UK most motorways are three lane and we are not supposed to "undertake" or pass a slower car by using the left hand lane. So we end up with the leftmost lane of most m-ways unoccupied and bunches of congestion. So why didn't we just build 2-lane motorways in the first place? Imagine the uproar if the government announced that it was going to remove 30% of motorway capacity.
Today I joined the motorway and, predictably, the lefthand lane was free. So I accelerated and in doing so passed a slow moving Volvo saloon in the middle lane. Cue much hand gesturing and light flashing by the Volvo driver! The hand actions you should be making my friend involve turning on your left indicator and moving left out of the middle lane!
Remedy, educate these halfwits into keeping left or find a way to introduce safe undertaking in the UK.
