To come up with a list of the twenty most beautiful celebrities, one must realize that all beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It is impossible to agree with EVERY choice for People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People, because while you and I might agree that Catherine Zeta-Jones is gorgeous, you may also think Sarah Jessica Parker belongs on the list while I have never been able to see what people find so attractive about her. I think that Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor and Sophia Loren all belong on the list for their extraordinary beauty which is clearly legit since they remain to be known as what we refer to as the "Classic Beauties". Every little girl at one point in her life has looked at a photo of one of those ladies and thought to herself, DAMN I wish I could grow up to be as pretty as that lady.

On a more current note, I think a lot of today's leading ladies and supermodels are absolutely beautiful. I am a fan of the beauty of the Girl Next Door' types: Kate Beckinsdale. Jennifer Aniston. Jessica Alba. Reese Witherspoon. Mariska Hargitay. Anne Hathaway. Rachel McAdams. Naomi Watts. All gorgeous, all non-threatening in the girl next door look so many love. They stop men in their tracks, and make the women wish they could be their girlfriends. They're the type of girl who were the prom queen because everyone loved them, everyone was their friend.
Another type is the "too beautiful". These are the types of ladies that women envy and men would die to love. Angelina Jolie. Eva Longoria. Catherine Zeta-Jones. Charlize Theron. Heidi Klum. Gisele Bundchen. All these women have power over men, and power over women to make them critique themselves to see what she has that they don't. They are the celebrities that people love to hate.
Obviously I don't expect everyone to agree with every lady I placed on this list. I know people's tastes differ, but I do also think it is possible to see the beauty in someone, even if you don't necessarily think that they are 'Beautiful', because the beauty is there no matter what your opinion.
