You think Twice
Looking at me makes you think twice
It seems as though my life flashes before your eyes
The life of one out of many
Yet the experiences seem plenty
You drift away into a dream
A dream of my nightmares and the worlds cries
Screams are heard from the women who wonder why
Why their children had to die
Why their husbands had to cheat
Live a life of faith hope then deceit
They prey, get on the knees and speak
They curse, wine, and ask why he'd do this to me
Then a gun sounds
The bullet pierces the air crashes molecules left to right
Sending a brief flash of light ,
After a high pitch of fright
Panic , fear , and amazement is shown from those who hold their peace
Wonderment of the person's life of which is now decease
Guilt builds up and begin to consume
The body of the human whom fate is now doom
No rest , peace or harmony comes their way
For now they are afraid
Afraid of the consequences to befall them
At that moment life seems so grim
Something so hopeful , priceless , and wonderful
Turned into crime, violence , and hustle
Whats the dream of the guilty man
Wheres the values and morals from which he stand
No longer does he yell the words I can
Instead he doubts mumbles and crawl
Tries to bring down every good man in his fall
Once the good now turned into the ugly
Asks for no help , no guidance , no Mercy
Wickedness crept down inside their souls
Telling them there's no god , there fore no hold
No grip or hand to help them lift
Up off the ground from which they slip
There are no miracles , and luck is only chance
Let trial and tribulation befall me
And watch them crash
So sad for those who give up so easily
If only they'd closed their eyes
So that they could open their hearts to see
The goodness and love provided by the almighty
But life that flashes before your eyes is not mine
For it's the world created by the divine
But destroyed by the hands of man
too weak to understand
The devil tempts us ands hope that we fail
Fail to live righteously preventing our souls to prevail
So think twice before you look at me
That way you don't see my life
But instead one of a person whom are free
