Poetry: Betrayal

WHAT YOU'LL FIND

Find me when it's broken and all else disappears
When rain drops will replace a thousand years of tears
You made me so I could breath and now I don't know why;
Baby baby, I know I shouldn't try.

You saw a trace of footsteps but only shadows on the grass
And then a shattered memory to which we both share a past
You left me here so long ago and now you're gunna see;
Baby baby, what's left of me.

You should have realized that when I came from Adams bone
The price that I was going to pay for being so alone
Lost within my mind and eating apples off of trees;
Baby baby, you have to listen to my pleas.

You walk past the smears of blood and tangles of my hair
you wish that this naked thing was not all that I wear
and then you bite your knuckles because you know just what you'll see;
Baby baby, there is nothing left of me.

When you look up to the sky I know you'll ask him how
why the things that happened had to happen now
and you will run over these events again in your mind,
but no matter what oh baby, this is what you'll find.

    I remember her best,
    In her white summer dress,
    Her blonde hair pulled
    Away from her face,
    Her blue eyes,
    Envied me, they looked
    So
