You know you are having a bad day...When you're 9 year old calls on your cell to let you know that you took off without her, and scolds you for not taking her to daycare!

When you forget to shave your legs and the cat thinks you are his new play-mate!

When you arrive at work and realize that you have two different style shoes on.

When you've been starving yourself for a week, but the scale shows a 3 pounds weight gain!

When the 'dementia' excuse doesn't work anymore, as you enter the satellite office for work, when you were meant to be at the home office!

When you realize, after hitting the send button on a very well composed apology email to a friend, that your greeting does not say 'Hi Honey', but instead says, 'Hi Hoe'.

When you slowly yet quietly drag yourself to the kitchen in the dark to start coffee in the morning, not wanting to awaken anyone, and step on one of those sinful little plastic toys that your child left out; thus belting out such a loud scream that not only wakes up your family, but the entire apartment complex!

And finally, you know you are having a bad day, when you look forward to sleep so you can try for a better one tomorrow!
