Second marriages are a waste of time! Think about the amount of time invested and costs involved in getting to know your spouse, setting up your finances, organize your marriage ceremony and everything else for your blissful future - all gone to waste!

Okay, forget the monetary loss. The fact that you've been through rough waters during your first marriage is sufficient proof that your second attempt could prove disastrous.
And because you've failed the first time, you'll be trying extra hard to keep your second marriage in tact. That itself will be a huge burden.

Therefore, in trying very hard to stabilize your second marriage and doing every bit to keep it intact, sometimes you tend lose sight of what it is that you actually want out of your marriage!

Therefore, second marriages will not work. It is too much of a mental strain for the individual; you will be doing a lot more than is required; you may also end up going on a guilt trip for no reason.
