Surfing the net recently I have found some inspiring information how to make learning more appealing! It turns out that music of 60 beats per minute with no lyrics or recognizable tune may help calm a person's body, thereby boosting concentration which is essential for effective learning. So, where these miraculous tones can be found? Ordinary metronomes show that classical music suits best. To be more precise - baroque music matches 60-beat-per-minute requirement most effectively. When your heart beats 60 times per minute your body is in the relaxed state - no tension that may ruin all the attempts to master new material. Moreover, while listening to music the right hemisphere of your brain is being stimulated. This means that brain activity is definitely enhanced without any particular attempts. Since this fact captured my attention I decided to make a list of authors who created 60 beats per second music. Here they are: Bach, Vivaldi, Corelli, Hendel, Pachabel,.. As far as I know Dr. Lozanov was especially interested in effects of baroque music on efficient learning. And he managed to prove everything in scientific manner. Enjoy!
