Doggles! These are goggles made exclusively for dogs. Not only are they chiche looking but could save you tons on veterinarian money!
I have a St. Bernard that, irregardless of how fast I drive, will not take his head out the window! He can be slobbering on the car behind us or beating the truck next to us with winds flapping from his ears but does not consider the danger. As most of you are thinking, "How could he?" You're right but you should!
I just spent $2500 on eye surgery so I know the cost of a specialist. Now I don't believe in seat belts, etc. but have you considered one bug, one piece of dirt or one pebble could lead to blindness or surgery?
Doggles come in all sizes and have tinted lenses (I bought clear one for an additional charge). My dog had no problem getting used to them and the only danger now is the people trying to take pictures of him with their cell phones while driving!
They come in different colors and cost approximately $28. One word of caution: Only use them in the car and don't leave the dog unattended. I ran into a quick mart and came back to find he had finagled them into his mouth and could not shut it. So, as with children, use them with supervision (super vision - get it? lol).
You dog and your pocketbook will thank you! I don't know if I can give a web link so I'll just say to search the web under 'doggles'.
