How to be a healthy cook

A healthy cook is a happy cook. My approach to being a healthy cook is a little unorthodox. First of all make sure you have a nice bottle of wine to sip on as you cook, it always helps to get in the mood. Have someone in the kitchen that you can snuggle up to as you cut the veggies, and trim the fat off the meat. Use very little meat,enough to fit on the palm of your hand. Grill your meat never fry. Steam your veggies, use the most colorful you can find and for a little more passion add some fruits to your recipes whenever possible. Have snuggle bunny cut up a slice, or two of good whole grain bread, butter each other up, not the bread. You could have snuggle bunny dip a little bread in some extra extra virgin olive oil, and the best balsamic vinegar you can buy and feed it to you as you prepare the salad made of fresh greens. Have a little pre-dessert serving of cheese with nuts and berries and finish off that great bottle of wine. The cook will be oh so happy and the dessert that follows will not add a pound to your waist line, it may be your new diet secret.
