There are more ways that you can go from a regular college. Community colleges are good and advantageous for some people but you will be limiting yourself from certain oppurtunities.

For example, to be a doctor or a veterinarian, they look down upon a Bachelor or Associate degree gained in a community college. They want their students to go to higher places of learning or at least regular colleges.

Community colleges can be helpful because of their lowered costs and their convienent close-to-home locations, normally. However in the long run, a regular university or college is the better choice because you can go more ways and places from it. It has more options and if you don't know what you want to be or you want to be something that requires graduate school, you won't want to go to a community college.
