Fear of change is to me tied in with a fear of our future.

I was annoyed the other night that all my dreams slipped away from my conscious memory. I was annoyed because usually I record my dreams into my journal each morning. So to find something else to write about, I did a meditation or visualisation about my future. Why am I so afraid and fearful of the future, my future and I think that it won't support me and is against me? Is it because I don't support or encourage myself much and I am rather feeling against myself and against my future? This is a lack of trust in myself and my future. I am scared of myself and of my future. My future is the future me and how I feel and think and will be then, can only ever manifest out from that which I am now. Change me now and I will change my future. How can I change me, to love more myself and my world and to love others and to love God? That's all, I wish to know now. Love is you and your future is dependant on the amount of love you carry or take into it from now. So love more now, Steve, love more now. I fear the future, fear wasting it, fear losing it and fear death, my death and the death of the world and of even the universe, I fear endings. How can I change this now? How can I awaken my knowledge and love myself and live my truth as my truth which is joined to and a part of all truth now?

All these questions and thoughts I took into my contemplation. I'm still not sure how answers come about when we have a quiet mind and allow what is there to emerge but this is some of the answers that came to be about change and its linkage and connection to now and to the future.

I know the future is a mystery, because we are not in the future. But for me and for God the future is nothing except change. So ask yourself are you afraid of change. But what is change, is it only rearrangement of existing structure or can change be new and a learning and a new growth for anyone, even for God. Yes, life is change and each new change brings opportunity never visited before, nothing repeats because of the time illusion God has created to allow change to take place in. Change is the ultimate mover of love, without change love would remain a force that had little effect. With the possibility of real change love inspires and encourages and moves us past all our fears to a new horizon built on sharing of love and honouring our own journey with love. It takes us past all fear to a changeless state where fear is removed and love is constantly
