Smoke and Mirrors
Blowing smoke, talking a lot, acting on little.
Words spread like cancer in peoples brains.
Hurt feelings spread like a virus in a mainframe.
B.S. falling like rain drenching every thing in sight.
Mirrors mimicking everything they see.
People trying to be everyone else.
Never quite themselves.
Always searching to become that enlightened soul.
Never quite reaching that goal.
Look beyond the smoke and mirrors.
Get to know yourself, then be yourself.
Only after that can we become our higher-selves.
Otherwise we are nothing, only tricks, illusions.
Smoke and Mirrors.
