Testimonies: Coping with hardship in today's society

What is the differences in teengaers and adults copeing with life?

I.Teenagers feel everything is out to get them. They are Growing up and many of them are scared to death, but are afriad to show it. They cope this by acting out.Teengers hate feeling like someone can till them what to do, This causes them to automatically shut out the parents from there life.

A.Acting out
Teengers act out in many different ways but they are all signs for help. Most teengers are unhappy, diffcult, and of course a parents wrose nightmare.leaveing a teenager unhappy enough soon enough leads to depression. Many people say well depression can't be that big. Depression causes mood swings, pain emotional and physical. These pains are often cause Teenagers to act out by rebeling. They want to feel in control so they go to extrem measure to feel there in control and to get attention. Extrem measures constist of Drugs,Stealing,Joinging gangs,Breaking enteries, poping pills, drinking, and last but not least SEX.

B. That is the most commion ways teenagers deal with depression. soultions when your teenger pushes u away most of time that means there very unhappy and need help but not from u. Asking teenger if they want help is very tricky. Teengers take things the wrong way all to much. First try it your self and say something along the lines "I have noticed that you havent been quit your self lately is something wrong" more than likely the teenager will denie it competely. then say "Well im just worried about you, you can talk to me about anything u know, if you dont want to talk to me we can get you someone to talk." DO Not metion help or professional or conclseing, this will only make the Teenager feel that you dont accept them as they are and something is wrong with them causeing them to feel an outcast pain.

II.Adult copeing with life
Adults of course have many responceabilies. Work is more than likely never fun and they have to make them selfves go to work daily to surive and support there families. Work often stresses adults out to the max. They should make laws protecting adults at how much work there bosses can ask them to do.

A. There is a limt any adult can take of stress. Children will drive parents nutts. wheather they a baby or teenager. once in your childrens life there will be a time you loose control of them. It's normal. Sometimes Adults dont know when to say no they spend way to much time makeing everyone else happy and nothing for them selves. so in concloion adults need to become more selfish and have self respect to do things for them selfves to keep them happy.

III. The united states is called the dream land in other countries. But in reality there is far more unhappy, unhealthy, poor people here. You will spend your whole working trying to reach a goal of happiness or your dreams but everything can change in blink of an eye. i think people forget all to oftent that YOU CAN DIE AT ANY MINUTE. so live alittle when You can. You never Know when there won't be a tommorow.
