Reflections: Memories of my grandmother

I remember going to my grandparents home. It was always filled with people. My grandma was in the kitchen, with a flowered apron on. The house smelled great. Grandma was baking pies while talking and listening to the daughters and daughter-in-laws talk. Grandma was always a good listener.I still remember her sitting on the stool in the kitchen with her arms crossed and the women around the table. There was kids everywhere outside inside, and up the tree. Each kid received their Grandma attention. It was a great time. Grandma loved her family and it was a big family of 13 children. and alot of grandchildren, and great grand children. I would always look forward to summer because I knew I would be staying with grandma. When I stayed with her I would sleep in the twin bed with her. I was always scared of the creaky steps.I was for sure that a ghost was walking the steps. My Grandmother passed on when I was eight. But I still miss her and think about her often. Grandma was a great person who loved the lord and her family. I look forward to seeing her in Heaven some day.
