Ron Paul: The only true conservative candidate in the Republican Party

Ron Paul: The Real Conservative

Even as a strong Democrat with unwavering plans to vote Barack Obama - if Ron Paul keeps this up, he'll earn my vote. Beside the Internet, there seems to be sporadic media hype about his candidacy but looking at the top 3 Republican front-runners, this guy is turning heads. I have to wonder, up to this point, how Republican voters define a true conservative given the choices like Rudy Guiliani, Mitt Romney, and John McCain. If President Bush was the best to offer as a compassion conservative - I wasn't impressed. And with bias assumption, neither were most Americans.

I'm holding the line along with the many crowds feeding into the Obama frenzy. It's "broad appeal" that I find attractive about his campaign - across the way, in the Republican camp - Ron Paul seems to have that same appeal and holds a strong attraction with the younger crowd. His ideas about the I.R.S. and calling for the abolishment of the Federal Reserve System, makes good politic. These are the type of candidates, where quality issues is reckoned with their "message" and can be supported across party lines. Divisiveness and the hostile substances adopted by the competing, major candidates is getting old fast. While their plans for a better America may be sound, we still end up with a divided America and remain apart as far as unity. As war fears become a permanent reality, bickering and partisan attacks is proving destructive and costly.

If the 2008 Election can produce Ron Paul and Barack Obama as their party nomination - it would provide a dynamic choice between two presidential hopefuls that are similar on weightier issues. Both voted against the Iraq war and both want to bring the budget under control with fiscal discipline. From there, their ideas caters along party line but the sense of optimism and hope, gets a boost and soothes the morals. I'm for a "change" and while I'm contend on Barack Obama, Ron Paul will earn a bigger chunk of my conscious when I head to the polls.
