In my teens, I was raped and it resulted in my having a baby and then I got married at 15 years old. My husband whom I was going with when I was raped thought the baby was his. So I kept the baby for 8 months. I couldn't deal with the rape so I gave her up for adoption. Then at 17,had a boy and then at 21, had a daughter. My husband try his best to support us but it was hard back then.We moved around a lot, lived in our car with the children. We even broke down and lived at Salvation Army several times. When my children started school, we were still moving around. We pay rent for a month and then we get an eviction notice and then when it was time to move out, we sneak out during the night to move. Now my children are grown and got married, they appreciate life more.Their jobs pay more and its easier for them to get a home now.Their's lives aren't picture-perfect but they can cope better than we did.Even when they lose their job, they just pick up and go on with their lives. Now my husband has his own company and we now live better than we ever had.But I just wish my children didn't have to go through the bad situation while growing up.
