Working at home is becoming more and more popular each day because of its advantages over working away from home. There are many things you can do all at home to earn a good income. It all depends on your skills, and passion for the work. You can work online, offline, or even both depending the kind of work you have chosen. In this article I assume you are planning to start a home business for the very first time. Here are my suggestions:

1. Try to find out what the people want. You can do this by using the search engine, online directory, and the newspaper's classifieds. You may also set up an online survey to get the results.
2. List down what you can do, and enjoy doing on a piece of paper.
2. Base on the list, think of what you can do best in order to meet the people's demands.
4. Look around you home what you can use to help you with your ambition. For example, you have a computer, and you can use it to provide computer service to the people. Also look on the Internet for any good business opportunities and ideas.
5. Look at similar businesses, and see how they advertise, and charge for their services.
6. Write down all your findings, and study them carefully.
7. Once you are ready to set up a business, register your business, and a domain name for your website. Do not use free websites as it can give the impression that you are not serious.
8. Advertise your business both online, and offline to let others know about it.
9. Do your best to apply to your business what you have learned.
10. Offer special incentives to attract people to your business.
11. Do not give the people the impression that your main purpose is to make money but instead, to help them meet their needs.
12. Tell the people on your website why they should pay you for your products, and services. This includes telling them how you can help them meet their needs.
