" Love is Blind "

I am gonna try and stay impartial on this one but tread lightly because I have mixed babies so " Watch yo tone, and keep yo hands on yo dam head! " HAHA :) OK, so here we go! I was talking to some folks today about mixed relationship and of course there is always that one woman who says that black men run to white woman because they can't stand being with a strong confident woman. Who knows what and who she wants. Then of course the men come back with. We get with white women because we opt for less drama and all that BS. Now I am a few years older and a few years wiser than I was when I first got with my baby mama and I am telling you that DRAMA is color blind! Bs is color blind! Liars and cheaters are color blind! And for all my strong confident sexy sistahs I got a few bones to pick with you too. But I will save it for the next blog. What I am talking about right now is why black men get with white women? Is it because they do things sistahs don't do?Is it really white women or is it Latinas? And does it really matter because either way it is not a black woman? Is the black family something that is becoming extinct? Why are there so many single black women "Working on themselves" and not working on making a relationship work with a black man? I will give you my spin on all of this and then leave you to make your comments. Love is blind. That is the way that I started and that is the way that I will end. I believe that you love who you love because they give you what you need and want to be loved! Also, As far as family and black men in general with black women. I think that there is a lot that used to be in a relationship between Brothas and Sistas that is lacking these days. We as men get it so rough just trying to justify and live as a man and the fact that we are just a man that sometimes after fighting all day outside you don't wanna fight when you come home. Black woman strong beautiful sistas have come so far and they are so strong that they don't want to bow to anyone. The shouldn't by the way! But you should acknowledge that you need someone in your life and you want someone in your life and you can't do everything by yourself. Take the cape and the chastity belt off every now and then. Listen to a man instead of talking all the dam time and reminding him how you can do without him. And also let yourself be loved by someone who loves you! For everyone Love, Life and Hope!
