Recipes: Tomato soup

Most of my friends like to buy canned tomatoes soup off shelves. But frankly speaking, home-made is the best. For those who really prefer simple cooking, here is one method which I would like to share with tomatoes-lovers out there.

1. Get a blender
2. Prepare your favourite type of tomatoes (cherry tomatoes or beef tomatoes, etc)
3. Garlic (always goes well with tomatoes)
4. Basil/parsley leaves (fresh/dried)

a. Chop your tomatoes into chunks (remove the pit)and put into your blender to blend.
b. Garlic must be finely chopped
c. Finely chopped up your Basil/parsley leaves, or buy them off the shelf.

i. heat up your saucepan
ii. 1 tbsp of olive oil and throw in your garlic; fry a bit
iii. Pour in your blended tomatoes; stir a bit; cover it up and bring to a boil
iv. Throw in the the basil/parsley
v. some pinch of salt. Taste it.

Texture of soup will depend on how you blend your tomatoes. If you prefer a more colourful meal, add in some of your favorite vegetables to complete it! Bon appetite.
