Are we ever really in love?

well, as for me, i felt that we are actually REALLY in love for the whole of our lives. from the day we are born, we are showered with love from our parents and our families and we too return that real, unconditional love to every single one of them. you might say however, there are less unfortunate people who are abandoned by their parents since day one, but, they too are loved by people in the orphanage, their foster parents and their foster parents. so yes, first proof that we, humans are really in love.

secondly, we do love our friends and our neighbours. a real and genuine care is shown if there is real love in a friendship. no matter how down a person is, a true friend is always there to lend a listening ear and is a comforting shoulder to go to.

furthermore, as we grow, we will have natural mutual liking against the opposite sex. you might say liking is not love, yes, i do agree. but liking is the first step into love. love in a relationship grows deeper and stronger as we grow and overcome issues together. love is when you fall uncontrollably in love with the other person, when you look into their eyes, you see peace and love, when you can lay trust in them, when you are not around them, you misses them, when you feels like having an intimate relationship with them, when you are willing to do everything just to see a smile on their faces, when you are willing to sacrifice everything, including your pride, your money and even your life. this is then addressed as unconditional love. this however, is not common in this cruel world today. many people have had painful experiences of loving and caring for someone too much which turns to bite in return. i for one, have had experiences of painful experiences of them. however, when you find true love, all those past experiences will just seem to fade. i have found my true love, a friend of mine since my childhood, someone who cares for me as much as i do for them , someone who is always there and yearns for my presence as much as i do.

last but not least, the most devine and unconditional love for me is the love of God. He is the one who gave His son to die for us, yes, you and me. He knows us in and out. He even know you better than you know yourself. infact, He has been thinking of us even since long before you and i are born. He have plans for us and those plans are never to harm us but to prosper us. He is always there for us no matter how we disappoint and walk away from him. He is always there to listen and comfort us. He is real and He loves all of us, you and me.

therefore, i say, we are in love throughout our lives. we are humans who are made to love. no matter what stage of life are you in, no matter how hard and painful your past experience in love is, you will still find a way to love. love is what keep us together and keep us living in harmony. so yes, we are always in love
