The LA Weight Loss Center At Home Program allows all of the company supplements and program materials to be shipped directly to your home for your own convenience. Your plan is designed by a dietitian or counselor and then customized to your needs during the sign up process. Just as the original chains offered one-on-one counseling, the at-home program also offers cyber-counseling in the form of
meal planners, food diaries, restaurant guides and online support teams. The program costs $200.00 and includes vitamins, a food scale, access to the LA chef service, a dieter's hotline and a few edibles like desserts, bars and shake packets.

How does the LA Weight Loss Center At Home Program rate with consumers and compare to other successful at-home plans such as NutriSystem? The advantages are clearly seen, from the convenience (no waiting for appointments) to the easy-to-follow plans which are designed by dietary professionals. However, the company has also received its more than fair share of negative reviews. The price of the program, along with the impersonal nature of cyber-counseling is the least of the company's problems. Not only was LA Weight Loss Center fined for false advertising a few years back, they have also been subject to numerous customer complaints. Some of these comments faulted the company staff's ignorance about how their supplements affect prescription medication as well as the company's unwillingness to refund money. The LA Weight Loss Center does offer a convenient solution to weight loss, but convenience doesn't always come cheap or with perfect service.
