The basics of home computer security

Usually when I get a new computer, I always want it to be safe, and for nobody to be able to reach into my computer from the "outside". And when I say "outside" I mean outside of my computer, and from other computers. Once, I get a new computer the first thing I do to make it secure is start installing internet security programs.

Zonealarm.
That is the name of my most trusted internet security software. It helps prevent hackers, viruses, spyware, and identity theft from reaching into my computer and messing it up. You can get Zonealarm from the following site:

Operating systems.
It helps to have a good, secure operating system. Before Vista came out Windows Xp Professional was the most secure and safe operating system. I talk about Xp professional from experience, I got Pindows Xp Pro to run my software better and to have a safer environment to be in. You can get Windows Xp Professional from the following site:
