I believe that God does the choosing. We may have faith in God, we worship Him, give Him praise and thanks for our many blessings. It is in our works that He base's his decision. Our passion for serving Him with little or no complaint. He knows what is in our hearts from the get go, after all, He plans each and every day of our lives.
We just don't or haven't realized that each day good or bad, come what may God has a plan for us and when He calls; it is up to us to listen and obey. It is up to us to serve Him if we are called to, and serve Him with heartfelt joy, love and reverence.
God is special to me and holds first place in my heart, and the blessings I see each day no matter how small, the really mean a lot and try to live each day realizing those blessings and giving thanks.
