The responsibility of the lender. If I go out and loan some street transient money and he agrees to pay me back, on about any terms I state. Who is at fault? The credit industry is losing it's credibility. No payments till the year 2020, no payments ever if qualified, we have heard these advertisements over and over. Who do they attract, they attract the most vulnerable, the young, the desperate, the poor. And now that they have signed the contract, which was all smoke and mirrors in the first place. They are held responsible for anything the credit companies can get away with, this year, and I do mean get away with.
Should the government come to the aid, yes. They should force fly-by night loan companies to be as responsible for the loan as the loanee. If some slick salesman gets granpa's, and gramma's mortgage in his hot little hands while gramma was desperately out of her needed medicine, and now wants to take their house, or home I should say. He should be able to do it and I do not think that is moral. If a lender is held to the standard that if they loan somebody money, they dam well better check credit references and do their homework. They spend millions on slick advertising schemes and thousands of trees are lost daily to mail cons, just to get to that person who is desperate, and vulnerable.
Yea, I think the government should bailout and regulate am industry that is crooked, and is ruining peoples life's, and their children.
