Why black athletes dominate sports (and why people are afraid to talk about it)

Black Athletes have been at the helm of success, once given the right to participate in his or her specific sport. Black athletes dominate sports not purely based on muscle mass and speed. Black athletes dominate sports based upon the psychological reference that he or she must be successful in his or her brand of sports in order to be noticed by scouts as a way out of the hood.

If we were to really analyze the statistics as far as unemployment, education, housing and diseases; blacks lead the charge all that is negative in the aforementioned categories. Therefore as a former high school football player and wrestler, my mind set was to work harder than the next man as a way out of the environment I was living. Having moved from a lower class neighborhood at the age of nine to an all black middle class neighborhood quickly changed a few of my perspectives on life.
It's hard for a suburban upper middle class or basically rich kid weather black or white to know what its like to endure hardships, bounced checks, minimum wages, and food stamp card maxed out till the next month and still four hungry mouths to feed with no father to pitch in.
The black athlete would love nothing more than to sit back and relax at home, or start up a business, but without any capital resources, that's nearly impossible. Black athletes do not dominate sports because they are black, black athletes dominate sports because they see the current position they're in and do work they're hardest to change it. And that's the reason most people are afraid to talk about it, because the issues stem far beyond the basketball court or football field. The issues start at home with economic depression, and false impressions that are put on children with unsuccessful relationships and racism.
The real question should not be why black athletes dominate sports, the real question should be why do whites dominate most of the top C.E.O. spots which in turn lobby to congress to keep minimum wage at a minimum, while also levering the wealthy with higher tax breaks and the poor single black mother at the bottom pushing her son to be an athlete to bring some money into the family.

Thank you and God Bless!
