Saving and putting yourself first

What reasons are there for being thrifty?Saving up for a rainy day?For your dream weddings some when in the future?Or perhaps, for that expensive but oh-so-beautiful Chanel bag you been eying forever?

Whatever the reason, the best way to stop you from overspending,is to do it for yourself and no one else.

To put yourself at first place when you start saving up,you need to keep a few pointers in mind.

1)No.Not that Chanel bag.Trust me.I had made a big mistake of saving up for years and spending it all in a matter of weeks.Have bigger goal than that.Such as having your own car in three years time or simply seeing your banks account increase.

2)Treat yourself.Small little treats can last for a long time and keep you from overspending.

3)Use less of your credit card. And embrace cash. You will be about to keep track of your spending that way.Limit the amount of cash you keep in your wallet, and soon you will be surprised that somehow, you seem to have saved up more than you thought you will.

Three simple rules and you will be quite pleased with yourself after seeing your bank account. What better way is there to satisfy yourself without spending any money?
