and breathing on this fine earth, do you prefer to stain the sun in the sparkling eyes of those whose ears happen to fall upon your lyrical hex? Or would you like to avert apocalyptic potential with words well spoken? Remember: every action has an equal and opposite reaction. How do you want to change the world?

In my eyes, heart, mind, and soul, I live in revelation. Awareness is all you have. Anything that you could do stems from how aware you are. Thus, if you are blind inside, your acts will be that of a blind man. Even the most beautiful song, if falling on deaf ears, is worthless. Bottom line is, anyone can flap their lips just because they have a pair. It takes a real genius to pick that Mic up, knowing the crushing pressure and responsibility that being a leader requires, and to spit, with skill, something honestly worth spending ones attention span on. You could alter the course of humankind with every step. Watch your path closely and perhaps, if one day your heart beats like a drum with purity and clean intent, and spills skill and passion to the overflow...then, and only then will time melt away, leaving you with only yourself and your closest friend: the microphone. It'll be just you and infinity. The product is nothing. The process is everything. True artists need only apply. For the rest, I'm sure that there's some drugs you can sell or someone you can try to intimidate. Until you open your mouth, nobody knows what a fool you are. Take that for what it's worth. There is no you, there is no me. There is no experiencer. There is just the experience. Then, and only then, will you know what it feels like to be a real MC.
