The importance of Francisco Cordero as the closing pitching for the Milwaukee Brewers

Am I the only one that would be amazed if Josh Towers had a .500 record at the Double-A level? I'm sure many other Baseball fans, especially Blue Jays fans, would agree with me on that one. Then why is it that he's still on the Blue Jays roster as their 5th starter? The guy can't get wins at the major league level, plain and simple. For a team that still has a shot at a wildcard birth, a long shot at that, Towers is the worst player the Blue Jays have at this point. Starting pitching has always been a concern for them, and Towers, the onetime 12-game winner, has played like he doesn't belong in the bigs. Time and time again, he's proved that he doesn't belong in the majors, yet John Gibbons and JP Riccardi don't seem to care. From having an 8.42 ERA last season to calling out his manager on TV, this guy doesn't deserve to be in baseball. The guy was 2-10 last season, has a 5-9 record this season and is most likely headed to become a career minor-leaguer. For any contending team, he's the worst possible pitcher to have on the team. So J.P., please designate this man for assignment and get him as far away from the Blue Jays as possible.
