WHY I BLOG.
Late at night, after the girls are tucked in their beds, this is the time I get for JUST ME.
The daily time I have, to devote to my writing, research some information online, and just think on things. This is my time.
Our days together are often busy and full.
My normal routine has changed, with my daughters here.
I blog less.
I write less.
I have less of the ME-TIME that I'm so used to.
This right now, is the time I devote to my daughters.
While they are here with us in MN.
The time goes by all too quickly, and I find myself at the same time - cherishing each and every day I have with them, and yet, yearning for more quiet time to write and contemplate my journey. It's all about balance.
However, as a woman, I'm always in need of time, for just me.
My time. Uninterrupted. No distractions.
Just me alone with my thoughts. With my dreams.
With my goals for so many things.

Today, I was SO HAPPY to find The Artful Blogging Magazine at my local bookseller. What a treasure.
For those of us that blog, and take our writing, our photography, our creative souls, the friendships we have made - seriously - well this magazine says it all, inside it's colorful pages.
I couldn't have shared my heart any better.
Writing in an online journal, or 'blog' - has so many positive effects. It truly does.
All of the women featured in this Premiere Issue have explained it so wonderfully.
Besides all the beautiful art and photographs featured, I must say to you, TAKE THE TIME to read all they have shared, in their own words. Read what has moved them. Read how the 'ART OF BLOGGING' has changed their lives, in so many positive ways.
For all the people that may be out there, that don't understand the wonderful positive aspects of communicating online to strangers from all around the world, and the fact that we share bits and pieces of our daily lives on the World Wide Web - pick up this publication.
It makes clear what all of us 'bloggers' have known for a very long time.
Communicating and reaching out in any form, can make a positive difference to those around us, to those distant, and to our own creative souls.
Humankind benefits.
The world becomes closer and the planet we share is made into a better place.
Suddenly, we share our days with people we have never met.
And yet, these people can change our lives. Make our lives better.
How?
By just being there.
We all blog for different reasons, and for reasons the same.
But the end result remains the same. We connect. We feel connected to one another.
