So many people are single today and also happy. For the first time in my life, I have my very own place and I don't have anyone here. At first it was a little lonely. Then I started realizing that the comfort of knowing that everything will be left exactly as it was when I left was very comforting to me.

I think sometimes the single and alone life can be misleading to some people like it is not a choice. Just because one lives alone does not mean they are unsocial or cannot live with someone. Quite the contrary for me.

Living single and alone has so many advantages. I don't have pets either. If I decide I want to take a mini vacation and just be spontaneous there is no having to worry about anything. I just pack up and go and close the door behind me. If I don't feel like going out of the house and lounge around in my pj's no one is there telling me O My God you are not dressed yet.

I am a working person hello! Also if you want to have friends or family over than there is no battling on where everyone will sleep or anything it is the greatest thing ever.

I enjoy being free of drama and free of worrying about if someone will be at my house disrupting my quiet lifestyle. I enjoy my quiet times if all I want to do is play my piano all day long or write or read my bible. I don't have to tell someone, can you please turn down the TV, radio, music...etc.

I am so single and so happy and think that everyone should at least one time in their life have the chance to have this quiet time alone. I know we are all social beings in a world that interacts with each other and that we do need each other in order to really function normally.

I believe that there is something so beautiful in this single life though that is beyond anything I can imagine. I mean you don't have to cook for 20 people anymore and don't have to clean up after anyone Yeah! For the last 20 something years I have had to deal with people in my life that just don't work the same way I do when it comes to being clean and tidy. I am not a fanatic don't get me wrong, but you know if you use one dish, just wash it and put it away.

In closing, Being single and happy to me has been such a rewarding life and if you are struggling than look inside yourself and ask why am I unhappy?
