There was a rumor that after Neil Armstrong landed on the moon and said his famous lines "one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind" he also said "good luck Mr. Gorsky". The reason was that when Neil was a young boy his next door neighbors were the Gorsky's. One day he walking back and heard Mrs. Gorsky say "you want Oral Sex, ill give you Oral sex when the boy next door walks on the moon". LOL

I went to snopes to see if it was true.
1. it had the rumor
2. it showed where the rumor came from.
3. It explained that the rumor was false
4 and it had proof that it was false by showing the actual speaking log of everything that was said when the astranauts landed from NASA. Mr. Gorsky was never spoken.

This is just a tale of one experience after this i became hooked. The site has hundreds of urban legends and if they are true or false. Like do the clouds in Lion king spell out the words "SEX", it shows if pictures floating around on the internet are true or false. One of my favorite rumors that in the song "Love rollercoaster" if you hear it at a certain part you hear a woman screming. The rumor was that she was murdered in the recording studio.
