Florida is a state filled with many wonderful adventures just waiting to be discovered...there is amazing sightseeing, unparalleled beaches, shelling, amusement parks...and now, some of the finest destination spas in the United States. While it would be impossible to list and describe each of the wonderful and amazing destination spa choices, here are a few that have made my "Top List" for 2007.

"The Clearwater Spa" located in the Bellview Biltmore hotel in Clearwater Florida is one of the most fabulously indulgent spas that I have had the pleasure of visiting personally. This spa is specifically designed to be extremely personalized; each person is treated as though they are the only person at the spa. There is no waiting, no lines, and no generic services. The therapists at this spa are more than qualified, and they are also very good about discussing your treatment choices ahead of time so that you receive exactly what your mind and body needs. In this exotic 18th Century setting, you can indulge in everything from a detoxifying seaweed wrap to a deep tissue Swedish massage.

"The Breakers" in Palm Beach is a spa dedicated to idyllic splendor where you will receive some of the most spectacular spa treatments imaginable in an Oasis-like setting. Breathe in the ocean spray and get ready to relax, as this spa boasts 17 personalized treatment rooms, an outdoor lap pool/whirlpool, beauty salon, and a garden/terrace area where fitness classes and meditation classes are held daily and weekly. While there is also an impeccably manicured "relaxation garden", this beach front property gives access to one of the most amazing beaches in Florida.

"The Westin Diplomat" in Hollywood Florida is a place where sweet indulgence is the only rule. This particular spa, while state of the art, uses to its advantage the surrounding Atlantic ocean, which is sure to inspire renewal and relaxation at the same time. Enjoy a body wrap, a massage, a facial, or a swim in the infinity pool where waterfalls will wash away all of your worries.

"The Spa of Eden" at the Eden Roc Resort in Miami Beach is truly heaven on earth. This destination spa offers a list of treatments that are not only state of the art, but totally luxurious. The sights, sounds and the surroundings are nothing short of heavenly, and the therapists are some of the best in the Miami Beach area.
