"Lipstick on a mirror/Water under the bridge"
It's been a long, cold night;
White moon hung like a lamp
Over a sea of inky planet
Full of dreamers and dreams
Once, someone could've told me
That the sun orbits the moon
That tree roots go on forever
That water is always pure
And I would believe, in naivety,
Letting a need for love
Blot out my mother's intuition
I've evolved beyond that;
What I require now is this:
Give me a more compelling line-
Bait me with advanced trickery
Lie convincingly, if you can...
I may just be foolish enough to believe you...
