REFLECTION
Looking in the mirror
What is it that I see?
A girl so shrewd and lonely
Unrecognizable to me
Her hair is all but limp
And her eyes unable to shine
She looks so unfamiliar
Is this reflection even mine?
Her waist has gotten bigger
She's overweight I dread to say
I don't know what happened here
Or how she got that way
Her smile is so forced
As her arms droop by her side
She looks so unhappy
What's going on inside?
Looking in the mirror
What is it that I see?
A girl so shrewd and lonely

Yet display a hint of grief
