Scooters are economical and environmental. But, after what I witnessed on the way to a job interview, I would say that it is worth the gas money to be in a car.

On my way to my interview in Kansas City, I was driving over a bridge for the Missouri River and I said a prayer for the victims of the recent bridge tragedy. I also said a prayer for myself hoping that the bridge was safe for me.

As I had past that hurdle, I noticed a guy on a scooter and my first thought was it was hot and I was glad I had air condition. And then all of a sudden a car pulled out and hit him. He flew over the car and landed on his arm. And from what I saw, he was going to fast and she did not pay attention.

Remarkably, he stood up but you could see his bone protruding from his arm. It was completely disgusting. I later found out that he had just purchased the scooter and was driving it home. I bet his wife greeted him with "Honey, I told you so! That's why I didn't want you to get one!"
