Cebest was my pet dog. He was dead for a year now. During his lifetime, he used to sleep with me on my bed and he followed me wherever I went. He was regarded as part of the family. The children love him and he enjoyed playing with them too. When he was tired, he would return to my room, jumped onto my bed and slept on my bed. He was an intelligent dog. He would jump down my bed whenever he need to go toilet and whenever he need to go to his newspaper.
Every night when we slept together, sometimes he would be above my head, sharing pillow with me, or he would be towards the bottom of the bed, at the right side of my leg. Most of the time, I would accidentally 'kick' him whenever he was at the bottom of the bed, lying on the right of my right foot. Every night I would wake up to go toilet too. Cebest knew my habit. Everytime he would lead the way, jumping down from the right corner of my bed, dashed towards my toilet in my room. I would follow him. If I went first, he would follow next as well. In the toilet, he would either drink his water or wait for me in the toilet. After that, we would return to bed together, continue our sleep.
These were all history now since Cebest was dead one year back, on 7 June 2006. Does dog have any afterlife? Does dog have spirits? I do not know. Are there such things as ghost? I have dreamed of Cebest after his death, twice only. After his death, strange things and sound seems to be heard in the house. There were occasion where the phone were rang but there was no sound from the caller. The phone was silent, but there were some kind of disturbance like "ssss" sound, that of the radio poor reception sound.
On several occasion, much was not noticed until more of similar experience happens and I start to notice it. The most recent experience I had was on the early morning of Singapore National Day. As soon as the lights were off, both me and my husband retired to bed, we could hear sound from the living room. Strange sound. Something which is definitely in the living room and not anywhere outside the house. We could not tell what sound it was and it was scary in the wee hours of the night. It was about 1.45am when we slept. Too scared to ask what it is, I kept quiet. I did not know if my husband had heard it. However, he definitely heard it as well, after a while, since I never said anything, he asked, "Did you hear something?" Yes, I did. But what is that? He said, maybe it is the wind. But it was not the sound of the wind! Nevertheless,
