Being "girl crazy" is a difficult thing to go through. When the thoughts of a young man constantly revolve around where to be seen by the most girls, and what to do to attract the attention of the girls, that is a good sign that the boy is "girl crazy". If the young man makes plans to go out somewhere, those plans will usually take him to a place where the girls are, rather than where all of his friends are going to be. He will dress in the latest fashions, and perhaps spritz on some masculine-smelling cologne. "Girl-craziness" is also a mental transformation. You may watch certain TV shows to see the attractive young ladies, or spend excessive amounts of time daydreaming about girls. Anxiety, usually given away by sweaty palms, dry mouth, nervousness, and the inability to form a coherent sentence, is a common side-effect of the "girl crazy" boy when he is around the opposite gender.
There is a difference between being "girl crazy" and being "crazy about a girl". If you are "crazy about a girl", you tend to have eyes for only one girl, and your thoughts and dreams revolve around that only her. If you are "girl crazy", you don't have any one girl in particular that you are crazy about. Instead, you like them all. If you are truly "girl crazy", you may even date one girl exclusively, but you will be constantly thinking about myriad other girls, and your desire to be around them will not lessen.
"Girl crazy" isn't necessarily a sexual thing. Sometimes it's just a case of wanting some female attention. Perhaps you weren't popular throughout your school years, or all of your male friends have girlfriends, or all of your male friends are "girl crazy" as well.
Being "girl crazy" isn't necessarily a bad thing. A lot of adolescent boys go through it, and almost all of them grow out of it. Once they do, they usually become "crazy about a girl", which is a lot more mature than "girl crazy".
