Mercury Quality Center - A comprehensive test management solution

Mercury Quality Center (QC), like Borland SilkCentral Test Manager, is a test management software. Quality Center includes Mercury Quality Center Dashboard, Mercury TestDirector and other automated testing products. It's easy-to-use, highly customizable web based interface is one of it's good features.

QC's core configuration includes TestDirector for Quality Center. Configurations of QC including applications like Mercury Quality Center Dashboard, Mercury Business Process Testing etc. can be selected depending on the needs of individual organizations.

Mercury provides different Add-ins for integrating it's own and third party applications with QC. The QTP Add-in for connecting QC with Quick Test Professional and the Excel Add-in for importing requirements and other specifications from excel sheets are some of the most useful Add-ins.

It is to be noted that the TDConnection object (for connecting QTP with TestDirector) is replaced by the QCConnection object (connect to QC) in the new object model of QTP (TDConnection object is available for backward compatibility).

A strong features of QC is it's Open Test Architecture API, which allows a high degree of customization and automation of the Quality Center, which in turn produces good results with various projects with various needs.
