Starting an online business has it challenges,
but to remain online also comes with a challenge.

You may not have a one on one with each customer
who visits your web site, and even when they buy
your product. But you must keep in mind that you
can't dismiss them. It is very important to have
a refund policy, because believe it or not it is
a selling feature.

And i can assure you that refunds are a component
of doing business. In my business i offer an ebook
and courses that teach you how to start an Internet
business. There are a bunch of people out there on
the Internet who are looking for a pie in the sky,or
that rainbow that will bring them down the yellow brick
road. Most of them don't have a clue, and because of
that you will have "refunds", bet on it.

With that said you need to handle the refund process
rather quickly. Be sure to contact them, by phone if
possible, if the refund is several hundred dollars or
more. By doing this you assure the customer that you
are legitimate and care, you may even save the sale.

It is very important to have an open door policy, by
that i mean have your phone number available on your site,
as well as your email contact. If you hide behind a rock
then your business will remain behind the rock. I make it
a policy not to do business with a company that does not
have a phone contact, or does not accept credit cards.
