Mouth Ulcer a small problem but a big inconvinience.First lets know how it is caused
1.Stress (most common)
2.Vitamin Deficiency
3.Tooth trauma
4.Chronic irritation of the buccal mucosa by ill fitting dentures
5.Accidental bite

Fight Or Prevent

1. Out of these causes STRESS is the commonest cause which can be overcome by modifying our day to day activities
2.Vitamin deficiecy especially Vitamin B-complex is the most common cause which can be easily treated by supplimenting vitamin b-complex rich food suppliments or tablets
3.Illfitting dentures should be taken care of by the dentist
4.Similarly any tooth that is causing chronic irritation to the buccal mucosa may lead to a chronic ulcer which may later turn into maligancy.
5.accidental injury is not a problem it will heal in time.

I would recommend maintaining good hygienic and healthy food habits taking lot of green leafy vegetables cutting down spicy food and alcohol and in case you find a ulcer in your mouth consult your doctor immediately and try to prevent further ulcers by using medication in time

IMP:In case you aare sufferng from a chronic ulcer consult your doctor immediatly as it may be some malignant non healing ulcer.
