Theme park reviews: Six Flags, St. Louis, Missouri

of ride that she liked. First we made our way back to the front of the park and ended up riding Scooby-Doo Mystery of the Scary Swamp. This was a fun ride, and to our surprise it was a water ride. Once we entered our boat, we picked up our blaster and began blasting every object that had a little target on it. Unfortunately, my wife's gun did not seem to be functioning correctly.

After we exited the Scooby-Doo Mystery of the Scary Swamp, we decided to go onto the Log Flume. There seems to be a Log Flume at every theme park across the USA. This is a simple classic that is fun for the entire family. We entered our log boat and began a river like navigation. On every one of these rides, there is a high hill that drops at a slant, takes your picture and gets you a little wet. It is a milder version of Tidal Wave. This ride is always simple and fun!

After we got off the Log Flume, since we were near the DC Comics area, I decided to ride my favorite ride again, Mr. Freeze. Once I got my quick thrill, my wife and I decided to get some lunch. On the roller coasters there is a possibility that you could lose an arm or a leg, and that is why they tell you to keep them inside the car. When getting food it seems as though you are expected to detach your body parts to pay for this thing they call lunch. We decided to "dine" at the Moose Lodge where my wife got a burger with fries and a fountain drink. I opted for the grilled chicken salad with a cup for tap water. This small lunch had a grand total of an arm and a leg, or otherwise known as $25.00. This is ridiculous, and the food was not even that good. At least the coasters made up for their lack of edible food. While "dining" we were figuring out what we wanted to do while we let our food settle; we thought about taking a ride of on the Ferris Wheel or taking the Railroad Train around the park. Then a guy walked by with a loudspeaker and dressed in a Hawaiian like shirt announcing that he was making a movie. I am an independent filmmaker, so I figured that this would be interesting.

After our lunch we made our way to the theater where this movie was to be made. Once we found out seat in the theater it was about five minutes to show time and we got really cold. They need to turn down the thermostat in that building. Then the lights went out and the Pink Panther stepped out through the green screen that was located to the left of the stage. The Pink Panther steals the director's script, and now the director must make a movie
