Puff or Pass?
So far I have not found one conclusive study either for or against pot smoking.
In actuality "Mary Jane" has many positive uses such as treating certain health problems, making rope, twine, jewelry and clothing, not to mention its obvious meditative uses in some religions and communities(i.e. Native Americans etc...)
There is also no definitive proof that pot is physically addictive to people. Now in a day and age when to many people are become dependent on narcotic painkillers, which are very addictive, would it not be more advantageous for the patient to give them a natural painkiller that shows no signs of causing serious problems such as kidney failure, ulcers or liver damage unlike with pills which often do.There are also those who use therapeutic pot to help with psychological issue. It has been used to treat anxiety and depression. In my opinion the government has only kept this law in place because they have not figured out an effective method of taxation for it.Here is some food for thought, in todays prison systems a person with one ounce of pot can get more jail time then a child molester. Hmm it seems our priorities are a bit off. I think if we legalized pot we would not only solve most of the over crowding issues in prisons but also the commission of crimes in general seeing as how everyone would be asleep all the time or raiding the fridge.
