How to protect children from sex predators

by Vermelle Maddox

Created on: August 09, 2007

Unfortunently there are more sex predators coming to light than ever these day.I looked it up on the the website for pedophiles in my surrounding area and my mouth dropped there were that many listings. There is no guarantee way to stop these perverts but you can tell your kids things to make them more aware.First always tell you kids that a predator will tell you things to scare you but it is always best to be honest with you and you will deal with it tell them it is not there fault. So many kids think it is either there fault or scared.Don't shelter them from the real world be honest with your kids. Don't sugar coat what you say to them because the real world isn't that nice and gentle like at home. It's sad but this world is changing there are predators on the street and cyber predators there everywhere.Next tell them the soft spots on either a male or female boths privates areas are one of the most softest spots and sensitive on the body.Scream fire people will look instead of help because it's sad to say but people are more scared for there own lives than yours.Stomp there toes hard as possible.Squirm, fight kick punch scratch don't stop fighting it is easier if they can not remove you from the scene or area.Try to get a good look at the person face or remember there voice or something about that person that can help track him down so they can't do that to anybody else.Tell your kids about going places go in places in two or more so there is always someone with you.Change up your routine don't leave the house the same time everyday.Don't walk home the same time of day or the same way if it is not in view of lots of people.Don't walk down alley's and side streets it's a pedophiles dream.Don't ever walk up to a vehicle you don't know a person in no matter if they look nice or not.Sometimes looks can be deceiving.Be aware of your surroundings always and stay safe. The last thing i would say is always let someone know where you are going if you are walking down a empty street call someone and talk to them until you get home. And lastly if you hear a noise when your walking turn around always be aware that is the most important thing.BE AWARE ALWAYS
