Make a denim pooch pouch!
Depending on the age of your kids, you may want to make these up ahead of time for them to decorate.
Take a pair of old clean adult jeans, and cut out the back pockets (making sure to cut right through the seat of the pants to form a pocket within your pocket, don't just pick the pocket off).
Cut a piece of inner or outer leg seam for the hanger, whatever length you desire, and sew or use strong fabric glue, attach the hanger to either side of the pocket, ready for hanging on the wall.
Now the fun part, get the kids to decorate the denim pocket, with fabric paints, acrylic paints work too, sparkles, beads, glue macaroni to it, anything you can think of, that is age appropriate. If it is for young teens, they can try sewing colorful beads, or bits of fabric.. the ideas are endless!
Now attach this to your wall with a hook, and they will fit beanie babies, (they look cute sitting in the pocket with their head hanging out!), stuffies, bits and pieces, treasures.. anything!. This looks great grouped together on a wall, I made them to display beanie babies, but they are a great little pocket for storage!
Old denim jeans are great for arts and crafts projects, its a great way to reduce, reuse and recycle!
