All those websites advertising that you can even LIVE on surveys and other similar online activities are nothing more than scams. Period. They trick people's minds into thinking that all money problems will be taken care of by their oh-so-wonderful programs (which you have to pay for, obviously), and that you'll even be able to quit your oh-so-hard jobs and live like a Hollywood star while rolling in your riches. The truth of the matter is that all this is just a foolish dream. Reality is not so kind. Should you fall for it, you'll not only waste some of your hard-earned money, but you won't even be able to pay half of one -small- bill.

As much as I hate to admit it, the reason why I know this is because I fell for it myself... Luckily, I was smart enough to avoid getting caught more than once, and to see through their little game as I received tons of ad-filled junk in my e-mail inbox after I did what the "program" told me to do.

"You will gain access to hundreds of paid survey sites!" They said. "You can join even if you don't live in the USA!" They added. Being a canadian citizen, I became more interested and ended up paying for their list. How disappointed was I when I kept seeing "Sorry! This offer is not available in your area!" appearing in my screen as I clicked on the survey sites links. How discouraged was I when I realized that most of those sites listed there didn't actually pay any money... making you accumulate points instead, redeemable for prizes. Needless to say that you would have to fill out an insane amount of surveys to finally earn enough points to obtain a little, insignificant trinket. On top of that, most of the survey sites only reward you with a participation for some sweepstake when you take their surveys (not even points! Far less money)! Not to mention the plethora of "affiliate programs" that exist on the web... Here's how they fool you: First, you set up your own website (for a small fee, of course) and hope that people will come and buy membership for the very same program you joined. Obviously, if no one knows about the existence of your site, no one will come and buy, so they strongly suggest that you pay (another small fee, of course) for advertisement and search engine listing... and so on. If you listen to them, you will end up paying "small fees" over and over... until you lose your shirt.

Conclusion: The only way to make money is to WORK for it... Filling out surveys and participating in other online activities are not and will never be work. If you like surveys, then consider that a passtime, not a way to increase your income or even pay your bills. Just get a better job if you want more money.
