Bad reasons for quitting your job

"I might as well resign from my job", has you ever asked yourself this question? Technically speaking, this is normal for people who are generally deployed in a very mentally demanding jobs which is both stressful and unbearable. How nice would it be when you just quit. That is not all, the job is already been so dreading, this boss of yours keep adding weight to this sentiment making you getting extremely stressed out.

It is bad if the earlier scenario illustrate some relevance to you, but it does not warrant you to quit your job. Why do I say this? Well, this is not something that I would just say for the fun for it. I am saying this from 3 different perspectives.

1. Financial sustainability - It make perfect sense that you are not able to quit your job because you need to service the loans for your house, car and what have you.

2. Level of confidence - You will tend to give up easily even if you move on to your next career.

3. Reputation - How are you going to tell your next employer? "I cannot tolerate my former boss therefore I quited. And I want to work for you now".

Consequently, if really wants to quit your job it must be for a good valid reason that at least hold some water. Something along the line that you wish to seek progression or a opportunity presents itself as a better career.

Some of the bad reasons for quitting jobs I know are:

1. You cannot go on anymore, your boss is getting on your nerve chasing every single thing assigned to you. All bosses are the same.

2. No freedom, you cannot leave your desk without informing your boss. Well, count yourself unlucky, but look on the bright side a least you get to go.

3. Pay too low. Think again, you need to start somewhere, don't you?

4. Heavy workload. Everywhere is the same, you have to handle it.

5. You boss cannot give you any direction, you feel you are working under an extremely poor leadership. Then bypass, seek higher management's view, you might even get to replace your boss. Well, thats provided you are really lucky.
